With the 1048 in circuit, NOT ACTIVE/NOT ON, my third harmonic of Broadcast Station on 1310 KHz interface on 3930 AM exceeds +20db. ACTUATING the 1048, setting the band selection for 2.4-4.3 MHz for reception and NCS Ops of the NM Breakfast Club on 3939; peaking the tune control, yields and S-0[That is S-Zero]. This equals fantastic, beyond my expectations.

I just got a MFJ-1048 preselector and it has made 80/40 meters usable. Before both bands were just noise, now I can hear the stations. I can\'t believe how much it improves things.
