| From: Mike Hamby KI4UJY | | Installed this unit in my car. Allows quick selection between voice and data on a Kenwood 271 2 meter radio and Argent Data Systems TNC2. Just had to cut the MFJ connector off and wire for standard Kantronics. When you think about the cost of purchasing the connectors, and multi-circuit switches it's not a bad price for what it does. Looking into purchasing a type B for my Alinco. Makes wiring a radio to a TNC much more plug and play with less custom cables to build. My only issue is mounting. I had to use double sided tape and velcro. Would like a unit with factory mounting tabs. 73 |
