| From: Chuck K9SPK | | This antenna is definitely small and is only 1.5" tall. The SWR is decent on 70 cm, but on 2 meters, the SWR is poor at the ends of the band (around 6:1 or worse). I can hit any repeater within about 15 to 20 miles of me with this antenna on my Yaesu VX-7R at 5 watts, and is good for "in the city" use. Overall, if you're not looking for an antenna that will get you 20+ miles on your HT, then this is perfect for you, and I recommend it to my friends. |
