Customer Reviews for the MFJ-1795.

From: Larry Shima W0PAN
This antenna works like a charm. Have it in my back yard between two orange trees and works like no other vertical I have ever used. Am in an antenna challenged 55+ community in Mesa, AZ. I run 100 watts SSB and usually can work what I hear. 73, Larry

We mounted the MFJ-1795 on the ground with
the MFJ-1904 mount. We are located in Chicago
and short of space.

I have been in Amateur Radio for over 55 years
and never had an antenna like this one. It was
easy to assemble, tune up and get on the air
within an afternoon.

I hooked my ICOM 703 QRP 10 watt rig to it and
immediately made contact. Within a few days I
even made a QSO with Italy and Spain!

I need to congragulate MFJ in making a quality antenna
that is affordable and works up to par to the more
expensive antennas on the market. 73's K9QAG

I purchased this antenna along with the MFJ-1901 base. After a 20 year absence from the hobby and being a bit too old to be climbing roof tops, I decided to place this in the middle of my yard.

My current qrp rig only covers 20M and 40M with about 4 Watts. Transmitting BPSK31 I have made contacts in Spain, Poland and all over the USA.

I get a great matching and low swr across both bands.

Assembly and tuning was fairly simple. I wasn't able to locate a cutter to trim the spokes. I found that using a hand hacksaw, I was able to easily trim the spokes in 1/4 inch increments.

Nice job MFJ.
