This speaker is really very good. With the mylar cone, CW notes are crisp sounding unlike a paper cone speaker which tends to be muffled. I'm using it with an IC-7800 for my CW only ops.

I'm very satisfied with this speaker. High sensitivity and good volume. Had one in my car for several years.
Note: But it should have a stereo-jack. Using mono-jack on modern rigs with stereo outlet may shortcircuit the audio. (Tried on my X108 this happens.)

Really great speaker for CW reception. Use it with an IC-7000.

This has been the best CW speaker for many years. It has a rather sharp resonance between 600 and 700 Hz and requires very little drive power. CW stands out very clear against the background noise and white noise from the receiver is suppressed.
It sounds best setting on the desk with something directly behind it. This greatly enhances the desired cw note.
For voice I prefer something with a bit more bass but this speaker can be operated at quiet high levels without distortion.
