| From: Floyd Lenhart NZ7B | | This mount is recommended for the MFJ-1432 RuffRider Hyper Gain 144/440 MHz Mobile Antenna. I ordered it when I ordered the antenna. The only problem I had was that the adjustable head would not tighten enough to keep the antenna from flopping over when I made a left turn. So, I replaced the two screws with longer screws, split washers and nuts which I was able to tighten the mount enough to keep the antenna from flopping over. It works perfectly with my fantastic MFJ-1432 antenna. |
| From: COREY KF4BST | | I HAVE HAD ONE OF THESE MOUNTS FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW AND HAS DONE A GREAT JOB WITH THE MALDOL DUAL BAND ANTENNA THAT I HAVE. HAS NEVER SLIPPED OR COME OUT OF POSITION, VERY GOOD MOUNT FOR $20- $30 LESS THAN OTHERS LIKE IT. |
