| From: Brandon KB1THM | | This is a nice little power supply I have had for about 5 months. I use it to power my Yaesu FT-1900R 2 meter 55 watt radio. It works great. Running 55 watts for 1 and a half hours can make the power supply start to get warm. Hey! It stays cooler than my big Astron RS-20A linear power supply running this same radio. Great power supply for the money. The fan makes a little bit of noise. The binding posts are very durable and it comes with two crimp-on circular connectors if you want to use them (I dont). I would recommend this supply to anyone running a 2 meter or dual band 50 watt rig and maybe some who runs 60 or 70 watts on HF. |
