| From: Danny Aldred KD4WKP | | I just put up the MFJ-6120 today and so far it has exceded my expectations. I made 2 contacts into Washington State, 1 to a Lighthouse off the coast of Nova Scotia, and 1 into Texas from Richmond, VA towards dusk with pretty poor conditions at 100 Watts on 20 Meters. So far with my MFJ-941E tuner I have been able to tune it to 40 and 10 Meters. I also checked into a 40 meter net with the Net Control in Georgia. I just checked into a 10 meter local net also. The ease of instalation was a plus. Time owned is 1 day. For a single band antenna it seems to do well over a broad range. |
| From: Danny Aldred KD4WKP | | I have had the MFJ-6120 for over a year now and have worked Japan, Austrailia, NEW Zeland and all over Europe and South America. On 20 Meters at 100 Watts from Richmond, Virginia I have worked Spain, Argentina on 10 Meters just the other week. It will tune on 40 but doesn't seem to be very efficent. It really is a great 20 meter antenna and a pretty fair 10 meter antenna. Highly recommended! Sincerely, KD4WKP |
