I purchased your model MFJ-784B some months ago. This tunable DSP filter is in a class of its own.
I\'m using it with a Kenwood TS8505 which is a CW OP\'s dream as far as I am concerned. It has cascaded filters 500/500 and has the ability of a 500/270 Hz.
I usually only work with one 500 Hz filter in line. I really think your DSP Unit would keep anyone happy both on bandwidth and noise figures.
I have had several \"DSP\" units over the years and yours beats them all. I am truly satisfied and amazed what it can do. Being a 100% CW OP these days I only listen on SSB on rare occasions and it sure does what is required. The 20db reduction in noise can be found in other \"DSP\" units as well but overall this unit meets all my needs.
Thank you for turning MFJ products around from Mighty Fine Junk to Might Fine Jewels. I worked 47 1/2 years in radio, ~45 years in a R&D lab. So know what is up and what is down.

|This product performs its intended use. It will take noise and interference out of a signal so it can be heard. Hats off to the makers. It helps me with my CW since I have a hearing problem and need all the help I can get to copy CW. |

|If you are dealing with noise, or need a custom filter for digital or cw work, this is the one. I have an older Kenwood TS450s/AT with this filter I can do all digital modes and be able to isolate the one signal I want or open it up as wide as needed.
