|Bought a MFJ 939i at the Jackson Ms. ham fest in Feb. I am now using the antenna tuner with my Icom 718. I works great. Thank you MFJ and Main trading co. great businesses. 73 Everett|

|EXCELLENT PRODUCT. EASY TO USE FAST TUNING CYCLE. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS IT WON'T TUNE MY G5RV TO 15 METERS.|

|Purchased almost a year ago, along with a new Yaesu FT450D, from HRO.|
Existing antenna was an ancient Hy-Gain 5 band vertical (circa mid sixties?) that I have owned for a few decades now, rebuilt (needed to remove "whiskers" from the coils) and re-tuned. Even with a very narrow bandwidth on 80 meters, this unit brings it into about SWR of 2-1 at the worst reading. Antenna "tuners" do not really "tune" the antenna, but it matches the impedance the radio sees, and this unit does it FAST!!!
Then I added an OCF 80 meter dipole (Off Center Fed) which has some trouble with 15 and 30 meters, but this matches it fast, where the radios built-in tuner will not match those bands. It even matches the WARC bands on the vertical! And it is so easy to change from memory bank 1 for the vertical to memory bank 2 for the wire antenna.
I recommend the MFJ-939[n] highly, a very satisfactory purchase.
Now maybe I need to decide out how to plug in my old HW101 and let it tune for that radio as well -

|I just purchased this tuner after using two different tuners and I like and would recommend this one over either of them. This tuner is fast and I enjoy the many memories. The price is right on this tuner as well.|MFJ-4245MVSWITCHING PS, 45AMPS, 12VDC, METERS, ADJ, LED LAMP$149.95
