What a beautiful little antenna! Amazing performance for such a small footprint and such a low price. The base magnet is about the size of a quarter - I josh you not. And it really holds - amazing.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the very tiny coax - I'm afraid it will be cut by closing the van's sliding door on it. The first one I bought was instantly cut by the door in the parking lot of the antenna dealer. He replaced it immediately citing MFJ's replacement for any reason policy. The second time I was more careful to put more slack in the part going through the door. All is well but I guess I'm still a little concerned. I've thought about wrapping some duct tape around it to protect it.
Listeners universally compliment me on the quality of my signal. I am using an ICOM mobile 2M rig with 10watts normal, but I can go to over the rated max of 50W on this antenna. It does just fine on local repeaters with 10W.
I'm real happy - I plan to buy another one for the other van.

Nice little antenna, particularly for travel. Fits easily inside my luggage and I use it on the rental car with my HT when I go on vaction or business trips. The connection to the "Hersey kiss" magnet is susceptible to damage however and mine developed an intermittant connection. It does not appear to be repairable as it is a molded assembly. Cheap enough though so I'm buying another. Maybe I'll try to beef up the cable entry point with some RTV to limit the flexing on the next one.

Great little mobile antenna! I mounted it on the cab of my Dodge Ram 1500 and I can talk to repeaters 53-miles from my QTH, with an s.w.r of no higher than 1.2 across the entire 2-meter band, I use a yeasu-1900 with 55-watts. KC9OET.

I have to admit, this a great little antenna. Out of the wrapper, it matches up very well to an Alinco HT and I had great reports with it.
Smaller coax makes through-the-door installs fast and easy. One note though: if you DO use it with an Alinco HT, you'll need a 'turnaround' double female adapter. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this one.
